USE OF COOKIES AND PIXELS

Similar to other commercial websites, our website utilizes a standard technology called “cookies” and server logs to collect information about how our site is used. Information gathered through cookies and server logs may include the date and time of visits, the pages viewed, time spent at our site, and the websites visited just before and just after our own, as well as your IP address.

A cookie is a very small text document, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier. When you visit a website, that site’s computer asks your computer for permission to store this file in a part of your hard drive specifically designated for cookies. Each website can send its own cookie to your browser if your browser’s preferences allow it, but (to protect your privacy) your browser only permits a website to access the cookies it has already sent to you, not the cookies sent to you by other sites.

AT reserves the right to use technological equivalents of cookies, including social media pixels. These pixels allow social media sites to track visitors to outside websites so as to tailor advertising messages users see while visiting that social media website. AT reserves the right to use these pixels in compliance with the policies of the various social media sites.

THIRD-PARTY USE OF COOKIES

Some content or applications, including advertisements, on the Website, are served by third parties, including advertisers, ad networks and servers, content providers, and application providers. These third parties may use cookies alone or in conjunction with web beacons or other tracking technologies to collect information about you when you use our website. The information they collect may be associated with your personal information or they may collect information, including personal information, about your online activities over time and across different websites and other online services. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based (behavioural) advertising or other targeted content.

We do not control these third parties tracking technologies or how they may be used. If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly.

EMAIL INFORMATION

If you choose to correspond with us through email, we may retain the content of your email messages together with your email address and our responses. We may disclose information when legally compelled to do so, in other words, when we, in good faith, believe that the law requires it or for the protection of our legal rights or when compelled by a court or other governmental entity to do so.

HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION AND SECURE INFORMATION TRANSMISSIONS?

We employ commercially reasonable methods to ensure the security of the information you provide to us and the information we collect automatically. This includes using standard security protocols and working only with reputable third-party vendors.

Privacy Policy Specific to the Project & Profit Toolkit

Privacy Policy for Project & Profit Toolkit
Effective Date:
1 November 2024

Project & Profit Toolkit is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your information when you use our Google Sheets add-on/application. By using our service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect & User Data Control

We do not collect or store any personal information directly. Our application accesses and processes data only from Google Sheets that you provide. Since users are making copies of the spreadsheet after purchase, the developer does not have direct access to any user-entered data. The data the user enters is stored only in their copy of the sheet and is not accessible to the developer unless they explicitly share that sheet with the developer.

Placeholder Values: Upon purchase, the sheet only provides placeholder names and values, ensuring that any sensitive information is added only after purchase by the user. This data is entirely under your control and is not shared with us unless you explicitly share your spreadsheet with us for support purposes.

2. Use of Your Information / Script Execution Context

The application uses your Google Sheets data solely to:

  • Move data between specified sheets as per your configuration.
  • Perform calculations or transformations as specified in the script.

No Centralized Data: The scripts execute within the user's context, meaning they only operate on the data that the user has within their copy. The developer does not have a centralized database or access point for user/purchaser data other than the name and email provided during the purchase of the Project and Profit Toolkit for purposes of delivering the product and communicating further with the user about the product.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not share your information with any third parties. The data you input into your Google Sheets remains private and is accessible only to you unless you choose to share it.

3.1 Support and Sharing Options
If you encounter any issues and wish to share your spreadsheet for support, you can do so in the following ways:

  • Direct Sharing: You can share your Google Sheets document with us by adding our email address as a collaborator with the appropriate permissions (e.g., “Viewer” or “Commenter”). This allows us to view the sheet and assist you directly with any problems.
  • Video Documentation: If you prefer, you can create a short video demonstrating the issue you're facing. Please focus on the specific parts of the spreadsheet related to your query. You can upload the video to a platform of your choice (like YouTube or Google Drive) and share the link with us.
  • Screenshots: Alternatively, you may take screenshots of the relevant sections of your spreadsheet and share them with us via email.

Please ensure that any shared content does not include sensitive personal information. We are committed to respecting your privacy and will only use the shared information to assist you with your inquiries. Please email the developer at anno@annotorr.com should you want further information about how to share your sheet for further support.

4. Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

5. Your Rights

As the owner of your data, you have the right to:

  • Access your data at any time through your Google Sheets.
  • Delete your data by removing it from your Google Sheets.
  • Revoke our application's access to your Google Sheets through your Google Account settings. Should you choose this option, please be aware that the functions within the script will no longer assist in operating automatic functions within the sheet.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

7. Contact Us
